A new Poll conducted by Comres has found a the Conservatives edge ahead of Labour, which during their conference will no doubt start further mutterings about Ed Miliband’s leadership. The Poll found the Conservatives on 37%, Labour on 36% and the Lib Dems on just 12%  per cent.

This comes just as Ed Miliband is set to be deselected as the head of Scottish Labour, reflecting the growing ill will towards the lackluster leader.
